600MW Coal Plant for Sale. Equipment delivered but not installed. This equipment is coal-fired comprising a 600 MW GE steam turbine, with steam conditions of 3500 psig, 1050°F/1100°F. The Alstom steam generator is rated 4,650,000 lbs. per hour capable of burning bituminous coal only or a combination of bituminous coal and petcoke (up to a 70%/30% blend). The designed heat rate is 8725 BTU/kw-hr. with a circular mechanical forced draft cooling tower, and electrostatic precipitator, and a wet limestone flue gas de-sulphurization system. All design associated with the equipment listed is complete as are the foundations and buildings for the boiler, coal silo bay, and turbine building, including all foundations. The design is fairly standard and completely developed for the critical piping, which is included in the equipment for sale. Balance-of-plant equipment and facilities have all been specified and are ready for procurement. The plant back-end design can be adjusted to match the buyer’s air emissions requirements, and the fully developed site layouts can be adjusted to meet the buyer’s site conditions. All P&IDs are complete as is preliminary piping and electrical physical design. A comprehensive PrimaVera level 3 schedule of procurement, engineering, construction, and start-up is developed based upon the existing site construction plan. Dependent upon the timing of the purchase, the existing engineering and design team can be assigned to the buyer’s project.
