32MW Biomass plant is for sale for continued operation or to be moved. 60Hz. SE US. The plant (built as a coal burner in the 80s) was converted to biomass in 2008 at a cost of $25 million and then operated until being shut down more than a year ago. The plant is in good condition and continuously maintained daily. All necessary permits and contracts can be put in place in a minimum amount of time. Renewable and other credits are available. The GE Turbine-Generator has a nameplate capacity rated at 32 MW. There are two Foster Wheeler Stoker Boilers. There is adequate on-site biomass storage yard and biomass handling equipment. The steam connection is still in place to potential steam purchaser.
